Hi, I’m Anna.
I’ve spent many years in hospitality; as a server, as a barista, and as someone who has never once walked into a restaurant without immediately noticing what could be better.
That instinct used to just be something I carried around. Now it’s a service.
“I started The Honest Table because I kept seeing the same problem: owners who genuinely care about their business but can’t get honest feedback from the inside. Staff behaves differently when the boss is watching. Reviews on Yelp and Google only tell you so much. And internal managers are too close to the culture to see it clearly.”

What I offer is a simple thing that’s actually hard to get: the real, unfiltered experience your guests are having when no one’s performing for anyone.
I’m not a corporate consultant. I’m someone who has worked the floor, pulled shots, handled complaints, and watched what makes a dining room feel alive versus feel like everyone’s just getting through the shift. I moved to Chicago recently and I’ve been paying attention to this city’s food scene the way I pay attention to everything. Closely, honestly, and with high standards.
If you’re an owner who actually wants to know the truth about your restaurant, I think we’ll get along just fine.
P.S. I also post about restaurant culture research; take a look at some of my posts: Research
